Cosmetic Facial acupuncture

- and other facial rejuvenation techniques

The course is aimed at therapists who wish to work with beauty both inside and out in a natural way, i.e. without the use of chemicals or surgery. And is also an extra technique for those of you already working with beauty.

Cosmetic facial acupuncture is still a relatively new phenomenon but is becoming more and more popular especially in the Hollywood scenes In the US. I took my education in the UK and Denmark and have carefully tested the techniques and think that the results are amazing, and executed correctly it is a relatively pain free technique.

Cosmetic facial acupuncture affects the whole body, where imbalances are also corrected. These imbalances are caused by various physical and psychological conditions. The face is a mirror image of the body’s physical, emotional and mental health. This means that there can be several underlying factors regarding wrinkles, furrows, muscle tension, loose skin, spots and pimples, etc.

During the course we will address these factors and the fundamental principles behind cosmetic facial acupuncture, including diagnostic principles, such as facial analysis, facial anatomy and musculature, muscle training, needling, acupressure-massage and GuaSha. All the techniques will be carefully explained and there will be plenty of time to practice on each other.

The length of a typical course is 24, divided over 3 days. The price includes the course manual, needles, GuaSha stone, and diploma. The course is held for max. 10 people this ensures optimal supervision.

What is cosmetic acupuncture?

Cosmetic acupuncture is an effective, non-surgical, non-chemical treatment to reduce the signs of aging. The technique builds on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which uses the insertion of very fine needles in acupuncture points on the face (and body) plus other traditional techniques. This increases blood circulation and Qi in the face and stimulates the production of collagen, which together fill the fine lines and wrinkles and make the skin more firm, healthy and alive.

Sally Walker offers a unique combination of acupuncture, acupressure and GuaSha, a special massage technique, advice about food and diet and other lifestyle factor, plus instruction in home exercises, all in all creating a foundation for a long lasting, radiant face. After only few treatments the skin becomes more beautiful, deep furrows and wrinkles smooth out and limp muscles strengthen and become more firm. The result, a natural more beautiful appearance. .
